I’m Mrutyunjaya Dash (aka MJ), a trained yet largely self-taught artist with deep experience in both fine art and airbrushing. I’m a native of Rourkela. Since childhood, I’ve loved creating art in different mediums and forms. If something is interesting and creatively challenging, I’m always in for it.

I specialize in fine art, especially pure, fluid watercolor. I enjoy painting Indian landscapes and cityscapes in watercolor, drawn to the medium’s transparency and spontaneity. At the same time, I constantly experiment with different media and textures, often combining techniques to push a piece in new and unexpected directions.

I’ve been painting for over twenty years and undertake custom commissions. My work spans abstract and contemporary art, landscapes and cityscapes, still life, mixed-media paintings, and spontaneous realism.

Alongside watercolor, I am equally proficient in acrylic and oil mediums, and that versatility is clearly reflected in my portfolio.​
